Besides university, I work as a digital designer
For my university internship, I was recruited by a group of companies that includes a fashion company and a technology startup. I started my internship at a fashion house called House of Afangaro, which specialises in creating unique luxury clothing. Here, I had to create custom patterns for the clothes being made and participate in the design of the clothes.
Towards the end of my traineeship, I also started to work for Galaxy Technology, another associate company in the group. They specialise in developing VR games and interactive spaces. Their aim is to create an online webshop in virtual space where you can view, try on and buy clothes made by the group's fashion company. My job is to design the digital store and to implement the real-world clothes digitally into the virtual reality. I am currently working on this and other related tasks that are both related to fashion and digital services. I work in a team where I cooperate with other fields of workers like software engineers, digital artists, marketing associates and sales.
I will be working full time for the company after my graduation.
